The Minions become Mega Minions in the second trailer for the new animated sequel Despicable Me 4o Despicable Me 4which features the return of Gru and the Minions, and new villains.
In today's preview, Universal Pictures and Illumination presented an updated version of the Minions, after five of them were selected to test a super serum designed to turn them into advanced agents.

The animated film follows the reformed supervillain Gru (Steve Carell in the original language) who tries to do good and find a family while doing it. Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Chris Renaud, Dana Gaier y Pierre Coffin They also return for the fourth installment.
The new characters are voiced by Will Ferrell, Joey King, Sofia Vergara, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman y Madison Polan. Ferrell voices Gru's new nemesis, Maxime Le Mal, while Vergara plays Valentina, Maxime's femme fatale girlfriend.
The first delivery, My favorite villainfocused on Gru adopting three daughters, while in the second installment, Gru found love with Lucy Wilde (voiced by Wiig). Despicable Me 3 had a shocking reveal with the appearance of Gru's long-lost twin brother, Dru (also voiced by Carell). In the fourth film, Gru and Lucy welcome a new addition to the family: their son, Gru Jr.
A fundamental part of the great success of the animated franchise is due to the characters known as the Minions. These adorable beings serve as Gru's companions and assistants, although their impact on the audience was such that they have had two solo feature films, Minionsy Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Chris Renauddirector of Despicable Me y Despicable Me 2co-directs the new installment with Patrick Delage. The screenwriter of the three previous films, Ken Dauriowrote the script with Mike White (The White Lotus).
Christopher Meledandri and Brett Hoffman are producers.
Universal Pictures will release the animated film on July 3, 2024 in cinemas around the world.
