Amazon Studios and Prime Video have prepared the premiere of the remake of the acclaimed 2014 Austrian horror film, Goodnight Mommy by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, and in addition to having released the official trailer for the new version, the marketing campaign now presents us with a handful of promotional images.

In the meantime we tell you about the project, which was put launched in September 2018con Naomi Watts in a leading role, directed by Matt Sobel (Take Me to the River), and hyphen of Kyle Warren (serie Lethal Weapon).
Amazon set its premiere on Prime Video for this Friday, September 16, 2022.
The film stars Watts (The Ring, Twin Peaks, Infinite Storm), the Twins Cameron Crovetti y Nicholas Crovetti (Big Little Lies), con Jeremy Bobb (The Outsider), Crystal Lucas-Perry (Mimesis Nosferatu), y Peter Hermann (Younger) in supporting roles.
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“When the twin brothers (Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti) arrive at their mother’s (Naomi Watts) country home to find her face covered in bandages—the result, she explains, of recent cosmetic surgery—they immediately feel something is wrong. . She sets strange new house rules, smokes in her bathroom, and secretly tears up a drawing she was given, things her beloved mother would never do.
“As their behavior becomes increasingly strange and erratic, a terrifying thought takes root in the children’s minds: the growing suspicion that the woman under the gauze, who prepares their food and sleeps in the next room side, it’s not his mother at all.”
The remake is produced by Joshua Astrachan, Nicolas Brigaud-Robert, and David Kaplan. With Watts and the original feature’s co-directors and co-writers, Fiala and Franz, serving as executive producers.
