According to THR reports, to the saga Twilight will be made into a television series by order of Lionsgate, being in the early stages of development with Lionsgate Television. The television project is based on the bestseller of Stephenie Meyer.
The source reveals that Sinead Daly (Raised by Wolves, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, The Get Down) will write the script for the series, and “is working with Lionsgate TV to determine what the specific version of Twilight will be and whether it will be a remake of Meyer’s books or a different offshoot..”
“The Twilight TV series is in its early stages and doesn’t have a network/platform yet, as sources say the studio, which controls the rights to the franchise, plans to lead development on the project before buying the rights to the package. .
