We’re going to Sicily!
The second season of the acclaimed original series of HBO emmy-winner, The White Lotuschanges its setting from Hawaii to Sicily, where there will be more moments of a “memorable stay”, as the character played by Jennifer Coolidge in the first official trailerwhich you find at the end of the note.
With release date confirmed for Sunday October 30, 2022 in HBO Maxthe preview is revealed, in which we see the return of Coolidge as Tanya McQuoid – a role that earned her an Emmy for best supporting actress – as well as that of Jon Gries as Greg Hunt, the now-husband of Coolidge’s character. Both actors reprise their roles from the first season, along with a new cast, and a lot of drama to be revealed.
As we mentioned, the plot of the new season of the series created, written and directed by Mike White, will move from Hawaii to Italy, setting its plot in a Sicilian resort where it follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the course of a week.
The new cast is made up of F. Murray Abraham (Moon Knight, Homeland), Adam DiMarco (The Magicians), Beatrice Grannò (DOC – In your hands), Meghann Fahy (The Bold Type, Miss Sloane), Tom Hollander (Feud, Us), Sabrina Impacciatore (At home everyone is fine), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos, Many Saints of Newark), Theo James (Divergent, The Time Traveler’s Wife), Aubrey Plaza (Emily the Criminal, Ingrid Goes West), Haley Lu Richardson (Five Feet Apart, Unpregnant), Will Sharpe (Defending the Guilty), Simona Tabasco (DOC – In your hands), y Leo Woodall (Cherry).

White is the creator, writer and director of The White Lotus. He is also the executive producer along with David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
- The first season of The White Lotus took home 10 Emmy Awards, out of 20 nominations, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.
- It was the most winning series of the 2022 Emmys.
