Ingredients
60 ml of milk
1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
1 cup cornstarch/cornstarch
1 cup (tea) wheat flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
Directions
- Place the cornstarch/cornstarch, wheat flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.Â
Mix well, add the butter or margarine and mix again.Â
Then add the milk and mix until it thickens. - Mix the ingredients with your hands until you form a smooth, consistent dough that easily comes off your hands.Â
Take portions of the dough and shape the cookies with the size and shape of your preference.
- Arrange the cookies side-by-side and spaced apart on a greased and floured baking sheet.Â
Bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden. - Carefully remove the cornstarch cookies from the oven and allow them to cool to room temperature.Â
