The horror thriller Weapons of Zach Cregger (Barbarian) y New Line Cinemahas just announced that it has set its theatrical release, where it will be distributed globally by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The project will be released in theaters on January 16, 2026.

“A horror epic of several interrelated stories about the disappearance of high school students in a small town.”

“Is a multiple and interrelated epic horror story that is in tone in the vein of Magnoliafilmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson’s 1999 actor-packed showcase.”

In addition to directing, Cregger wrote the script and will produce alongside Roy Lee from Vertigo, producer of Barbarian, and JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules of BoulderLight Pictures. Vertigo's Miri Yoon also produces.
