Ingredients
450 ml of milk
3 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Salt to taste
Directions
- In a pan put the milk, wheat flour and stir well.
Place over medium heat and add the butter or margarine, white pepper, oregano and salt to taste.
Mix non-stop while cooking until thickened and reduce heat. - Cook for another 3 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
Turn off the fire and transfer the cream to a platter or refractory.
Let it cool down a bit and the white sauce is ready to use in your favorite recipes.
