Turn simple ingredients into a delicious and simple yogurt cake.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs (220 g)

  • 1 cup of oil (175 ml)

  • 1 cup of yogurt (170 g)

  • 3 cups of sugar (440 g)

  • 4 cups of all-purpose flour (460 g)

  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder (15 g)

Directions

  • In a bowl, add the eggs and sugar, and whisk well until it forms a pale, creamy mixture.
  • Add the yogurt and oil, and mix again. Then add the flour and mix until smooth and fully combined.
  • Add the baking powder, mix well, and pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool slightly, run a knife around the edges, remove from the pan, and it’s ready to serve.
