15 Years Electric Weekender – frohfroh – electronic music from leipzig

Here is an extra tip from our Dance Dance summer break: because the Electric Weekender at Conne Island is celebrating a small anniversary.

Awesome, for 15 years there has been a late-summer tradition at Conne Island that both the hall and the garden are played with an exciting electronic program for a weekend. The series was created in the summer of 2008 – in the middle of the peak phase of the Electric Island series. In this respect, this anniversary is definitely a bit nostalgic.

Especially since on the second evening, Aril Brikha, a house/techno luminary, who also caused ecstasy at Iceland 15 years ago, will perform. The anniversary edition starts on Friday with a showcase of the Import/Export series, where four live acts will shape the sound with ambient and experimental. On Saturday there will be house and techno in the hall as well as breaks and experimental on the ambient veranda. And on Sunday morning, the party then moves completely to an after-hours outside.
