A few days ago it was announced that the Oscar-winning filmmaker, Kathryn Bigelowis preparing his next project, a thriller with no official title at the moment, which will have a home in Netflix.
The most recent news reports from Deadline, the signing of Jason Clarkea familiar face for Bigelow, as the director placed him at her command as part of the cast of the acclaimed Zero Dark Thirty (2012).
Clarke joins a great cast made up of Idris Elba (Knuckles, Hijack), Rebecca Ferguson (Dune: Part Two, Silo), Jared Harris (Chernobyl, The Crown), Greta Lee (Past Lives, The Morning Show), Tracy Letts (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, Ford v Ferrari), Moses Ingram (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen’s Gambit), Gabriel Basso (The Night Agent, Trigger Warning), and the recently announced Anthony Ramos (Twisters, Dumb Money).
Both the official title and the plot remain under wraps for the moment, however, it is known that the film “will be set in the White House as a national crisis unfolds.”

Clarke's most recent roles include the Oscar-winning film, Oppeheimerthe HBO series, Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynastyand the Apple TV+ series, The Last Frontier.
Bigelow won the Oscar for best director for The Hurt Locker (2008), becoming only the second woman to achieve victory in that category. Other films directed by the filmmaker include the classic Point Break (1991), Strange Days (1995), K-19: The Widowmaker (2002), Detroit (2017), and the acclaimed Zero Dark Thirty (2012), for which she obtained an Oscar nomination for best film, as its producer.
This will be the first project for Bigelow since Detroit (2017).
