The rom-com franchise Bridget Jones announced the development of a new installment last April. The film, now in post-production, kicked off the marketing campaign in recent weeks with the first official poster, while this morning Universal Pictures revealed the official trailer.
The fourth installment of the title Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boyo Bridget Jones: Crazy about him in our market, counts on the return of Renée Zellweger in one of his most beloved roles.
The trailer focuses on Bridget Jones looking for love while accepting the tragedy of losing Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), who lost his life between the events of the third installment released in 2016, and the next one to be released in 2025. The trailer does not waits a long time to reveal Mark's absence to the audience. The only way for Bridget is to move on with her life.

The film, adapted from Helen Fielding's bestseller, is directed by Michael Morris (Better Call Saul, To Leslie), with a script Fielding, Abi Morgan y And Mazer.
The rom-com franchise, made up of Bridget Jone’s Diary (2001), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), y Bridget Jone’s Baby (2016), accumulates more than $760 million dollars in the global box office.
Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Jo Wallett produce on behalf of Working Title, with Amelia Granger and Sarah-Jane Wright executive producing. Helen Fielding is another executive producer. Universal Pictures has set its release in theaters around the world for February 14, 2025.. In the United States, it will also have a simultaneous premiere on Peacock.
