The psychosexual erotic thriller Babygirlfrom the screenwriter and director Halina Reijn and the film studio A24continues to prepare its next theatrical release with a new trailer.
The plot starring Nicole Kidman (Lioness, Expats) y Harris Dickinson (The Iron Claw, Triangle of Sadness), focuses on a successful high level business executive (Kidman) that puts his career and family on the line when he begins a torrid romance with his much younger intern (Dickinson).

Antonio Banderas (Puss in Boots, Uncharted), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me), Esther McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi, High School), Victor Slezak (The Glorias, The Report), Vaughan Reilly (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), y Leslie Silva (Poker Face, In the Dark) complete the cast.
Reijn is the screenwriter, director and producer of Babygirl. The filmmaker is known for having made the horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) and the thriller Instinct (2019).
- It marks his third feature film behind the camera.
- It marks the third collaboration between Reijn and A24, after the studio distributed its first two feature films in theaters.
Reijn produces the feature film together with David Hinojosa and Julia Oh. Executive producers are Christine D'Souza Gelb, Erika Hampson and Zach Nutman.
Babygirl celebrated its world premiere at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, where Kidman won the best actress award for her performance in the film.
A24 premieres Babygirl in cinemas December 25, 2024.
