Netflix revealed the teaser trailer from its anticipated limited series, Zero Daya conspiracy thriller starring Robert De Niro (Killers of the Flower Moon, The Irishman) y Angela Bassett (9-1-1, Black Panther) in leading roles.
The plot centers on former US President George Mullen (De Niro) who heads the Zero Day Commission and is on a mission to find out who is responsible for a cyberattack that caused chaos and the loss of thousands of lives. This comes as misinformation runs amok alongside the personal ambitions of power brokers in the tech sector, Wall Street and the government, colliding with each other. However, Mullen has problems of his own and his dark secrets threaten to come to light.
The trailer begins with Mullen recapping the chaos of what happened on the so-called “day zero,” including more than 3,000 people dead. Mullen is in the Oval Office with the sitting president of the United States played by Bassett. The two are planning their next moves, which seems to be going pretty well until Mullen is faced with the possibility of having to stop people on the streets. The advance of Zero Daywhich lasts almost a minute, also highlights the supporting cast and ends with Bassett's character declaring that some things are more important than the truth.
The supporting cast, which continues to be top-notch like its protagonists, is made up of Lizzy Caplan (Fatal Attraction), Jesse Plemons (Civil War), John Allen (Lisey’s Story), Connie Britton (9-1-1, American Horror Story), Dan Stevens (Abigail), y Matthew Modine (Stranger Things). While Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent), Gaby Hoffmann (Eric), Clark Gregg (Snowpiercer), y McKinley Belcher III (Ozark) appear as star guests.

Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim y Michael S. Schmidt are the co-creators and executive producers of Zero Day. Newman and Oppenheim are also the writers and co-showrunners.
De Niro is the executive producer along with Lesli Linka Glatter y Jonathan Glickman. Glatter is the director.
