Netflix announced it had renewed the popular legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer to a fourth season. The renewal occurs three months after the premiere of season three on the streamer.

Filming for season four will begin in February in Los Angeles, and there will be 10 episodes, Deadline reported.

The new season will be based on the sixth book of the literary saga The Lincoln Lawyer of Michael Connellytitled The Law of Innocence.

The Mexican actor Manuel García-Rulfo returns as Mickey Haller, as well as Becki Newton like Lorna, Jazz Raycole like Izzy, Angus Sampson like Cisco, and the great return of Neve Campbell as Maggie, no longer in a recurring/guest role like season three, but in a full-time role.

  • Maggie does not have a prominent role in the book. The Gods of Guilton which the third season was based.

García-Rulfo stars in the series as attorney Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist who runs his law practice from the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car while taking on cases large and small in Los Angeles.

The series is run by David E. Kelley y Ted Humphreyco-writers and executive producers. Dailyn Rodríguez (Queen of the South) joined from the second season as co-showrunner, along with Humphrey – showrunner of the first season – and as executive producer. Connelly is another executive producer along with Ross Fineman. A+E Studios produces
