Spirit Awards 2025: Live coverage!

The afternoon of this Saturday, February 22, the Film Independent Spirit Awardsalso known in its short form as Spirit Awards.

The ceremony, which is about to start from the beach in Santa Monica, California, recognizes the best of independent cinema and TVs. This is its 40th edition. The American actress and comedian, Aidy Bryant, will be the host.

The live broadcast can be seen through its official YouTube channel or by the official IMDB YouTube channel at 4pm (time of central Mexico).

The films that arrive as leaders of nominations in the Spirit Awards 2025 son Aor y I Saw the TV Glowwith six nominations for each. In the television category, Shōgun leads with five nominations, followed by Baby Reindeer y English Teacher with four nominations for each.

Independent cinema deliveries as Dìdi, Janet Planet, Sing Sing, Ghostlight, The People’s Joker, In the Summers, The Substance y Nickel Boys Multiple nominations were also credited.
