The Hunting Wives is recruiting new talent to create more chaos in season two.
John Stamos, Cam Gigandet y Dale Dickey are joining the cast of season 2 of the series, along with Kim Matula (Saturday Night) y Alex Fitzalan (The Wilds), according to reports from Netflix Tudum.
The first season swept the audience and social networks due to its spicy plot. The five actors join the returns of the star protagonists Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Love Rodrigue, Hunter Emeryy Branton Box.
Stamos will play Chase Brylan, with Gigandet playing the knight John Moffitt, and Dickey will play Zelda Moffitt and. Their character descriptions have not yet been announced.
Stamos is recognized for playing Uncle Jesse in the family series Full House and its sequel Fuller House. Other roles include ER, You, Big Shot and more recently, Palm Royale of Apple TV.
Gigandet had his breakthrough role in the series The O.C.and later appeared in Twilight, Burlesquey Violent Night.
Dickey appeared in Winter’s Bone, Hell or High Waterand series like True Blood, A League of Their Own, Fallouty The Lowdown.
The plot of The Hunting Wives follows Sophie O'Neil (Snow) who moves to deep East Texas where she succumbs to the charms of socialite Margo Banks (Akerman). His life soon becomes consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.
In the second season, Netflix explains, “Sophie and Margo are estranged. But soon, old secrets and new enemies force them to reconcile. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the prey?”
Rebecca Cutter She is the creator and showrunner of the series, for which she based the novel of the same name by May Cobb.
The series was created at Starz, but as part of the separation agreement between Starz and Lionsgate, the series was moved to Netflix (in the United States and from this day on in Latin America).
Executive producers are Cutter, Cobb, and Erwin Stoff of 3 Arts Entertainment.
Lionsgate is the producing studio.
At the moment there is no official date announced for the release of the second season.
