The viral phenomenon of the small screen, The Hunting Wivesfinally makes its arrival in Latin America.

The series from the creator and showrunner Rebecca Cutterwas created at Starz, but as part of the separation deal between Starz and Lionsgate, the series was moved to Netflix in the United States.

After sweeping the audience and social networks with a spicy plot, starting from its premiere in the United States last July, the audience in our region was wondering when it would be their turn to enjoy the series based on the best-selling novel of the same name by May Cobb.

Netflix Latin America has already made it official and announced the arrival of The hunting wives –because of its title in our region. The series is now available to all the streamer's subscribers.

The cast of the first season is headed by Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Love Rodrigue, Hunter Emery, Branton Box, Katie Lowes, Chosen Jacobsy Chrissy Metz.

The plot of The Hunting Wives follows Sophie O'Neil (Snow) who moves from New England to deep east Texas. There, he succumbs to the charms of socialite Margo Banks (Akerman).where a conclave of housewives guards deadly secrets. His life soon becomes consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.

In the second season, “Sophie and Margo are estranged. But soon, old secrets and new enemies force them to reconcile. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the prey?”

In recent days some of the new additions for the second season were confirmed, including John Stamos (Full House), Cam Gigandet (Twilight) y Dale Dickey (Hell or High Water) are joining the cast of season 2 of the series, along with Kim Matula (Saturday Night) y Alex Fitzalan (The Wilds).

Stamos will play Chase Brylan, with Gigandet playing the knight John Moffitt, and Dickey will play Zelda Moffitt and. Their character descriptions have not yet been announced.

Executive producers are Cutter, Cobb, and Erwin Stoff of 3 Arts Entertainment. Lionsgate is the producing studio.

At the moment there is no official date announced for the release of the second season.
