Sebastian Stan will be Harvey Dent aka Two-Face in 'The Batman Part II'

In recent days it was reported that Sebastian Stan was holding talks to join the distribution of The Batman Part II of Matt Reeves.

In this instance, no details were given about his role, however, there is already an official response: Stan will play Harvey Dent, better known as Two-Face or Two-Face in Reeves' sequel, with Robert Pattinson back as the Dark Knight.

The news was announced by THR in its first newsletter of 2026, simply stating: “Conoce to Harvey teeth: Stan's Sebastian is one of Part II”. A few days earlier, Michael Fisher, Stan's stylist, had shared fan art of the actor characterized as Two-Face.

Two-Face, one of Batman's greatest villains, would be joining other antagonists who appeared in the first installment of 2022, such as Colin Farrell like the Penguin, while waiting for the return of Barry Keoghan like the Joker, and probably the one from Paul Dano (The Riddler.

The sequel officially got underway in April 2022, with Reeves returning as director and co-writer with Mattson Tomlin. They both co-wrote the first installment.

The Batman (2022) became a box office success, accumulate more than $770 million in the global box officeand earn the title as the third highest-grossing film in times of pandemic, after its premiere in March 2022.

The argument of The Batman focused on the Dark Knight's beginnings as he evolves into an experienced vigilante, uncovering corruption in Gotham City and learning more about his billionaire family's past.

Little is known about the plot of the sequel beyond knowing that “will take audiences back to Gotham.”

Reeves and Tomlin's script reached its final stage in June 2025.

Stan, nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor in 2025 for The Apprenticeappeared on the big screen last summer reprising his role as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in Thunderbolts*. In December of this year he will do it again in Avengers: Doomsday.
