Witch Fever «SAFE» – you can certainly get me with some dark rock music, and I can also handle gothic references (in moderation). So it's no surprise that the single “SAFE” from this UK band definitely suits my taste. She manages to always stay on the melodic side, but also lets a bit of grunge and post-punk shine through. Very successful!
Rusui «Rug Train» – Little is known about the Japanese singer and illustrator Rusui, but she has been regularly uploading covers and other songs to YouTube, for example, for several years. Their sound is very typically Japanese, somewhere in the direction of J-Pop, but difficult to classify. I particularly liked one of the last covers.
