Apple TV has the marketing campaign underway Margo’s Got Money Troublesone of its highest-profile series, and scheduled to premiere in May of this year, the streamer shares the official full trailer.
The series stars and executive produced by Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer y Nicole Kidman.
The cast also includes Nick Offerman (The Last of Us, Civil War), Thaddea Graham (Bad Sisters, Jay Kelly), Greg Kinnear (Smoke, Shining Vale), y Marcia Gay Harden (The Dreadful, The Morning Show).
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is described by the streamer as a bold, moving and comedic family drama that follows Margo (Fanning), a young college dropout and aspiring writer. She is the daughter of a former Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and a former professional wrestler (Offerman), who is forced to cope with a newborn baby, a mountain of bills and fewer and fewer options to pay them.
The series is produced by A24 for Apple TV. It is based on the bestseller of the same name by Rufi Thorpe.
The Emmy winner, David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Presumed Innocent, The Lincoln Lawyer) is the showrunner, writer and executive producer. He shares executive producer duties with the leading trio, Fanning, Pfeiffer and Kidman, as well as Dakota Fanning, Brittany Kahan Ward, Per Saari, Matthew Tinker, Thorpe, Eva Anderson and Boo Killebrew.
It is a new collaboration between Kelley and Apple TV, after making the legal drama Presumed Innocent from the streamer, which is in production on its second season right now.
Darbhla Walsh (Bad Sisters, Fargo, The Handmaid’s Tale) directs four episodes, including the pilot, and is another executive producer. Other directors are Kate Herron (Loki, Sex Education) y Alice Seabright (Sex Education).
Apple's original eight-episode series will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 with three episodesfollowed by new episodes every Wednesday until May 20, 2026.
