Lionsgate debuted a first teaser trailer for the officially titled Fall 2: Deadpointproduced by the same team as the first installment, and which promises to take audiences to terrifying new heights.
The script of the sequel, Vertigo 2was co-written by Scott Mann y Jonathan Frankco-writers of the first film, which was directed by Mann. On this occasion, Mann passes the directing baton to the brothers Michael y Peter Spierig (Jigsaw, Daybreakers), also known as The Spierig Brothers.
Harriet Slater (Outlander: Blood of My Blood), Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) are our new protagonists, accompanied by Tom Brittney (Grantchester), and according to information shared by Lionsgate, appearances of the protagonists of the first installment, Grace Caroline Currey y Virginia Gardner.
Jax (Slater) and Luce (Thomas) find themselves trapped in extreme terrain in Thailand and must find a way to survive thousands of feet in the air. The connection to the first film is Slater's character, Jax Hunter, the older sister of Shiloh, a character played by Gardner in the original film.

“Following the loss of her intrepid sister Hunter, a deeply shaken Jax undertakes a dangerous climb with Hunter's old friend Luce to honor her memory. The plot of Fall o Vertigorevolved around best friends Becky and Hunter (Currey and Gardner), who climb a remote, abandoned radio tower in the desert, becoming trapped at the top of the tower, 600 meters above the ground.
The thriller had a positive run in theaters upon its release in August 2022, grossing a global box office of $17 million, against a budget of just $3 million. This was more than enough for Lionsgate and the production company Tea Shop Productions They gave the green light not to one sequel, but to two sequels, Fall 2 y Fall 3.
