Chase Yi joins 'Paranormal Activity 8' in leading role

The horror saga paranormal activity of Paramount Pictures y Blumhouse-Atomic Monsterhas made his first signing.

Chase Yi (Mythic Quest) becomes the first confirmed cast member; Yi joined the new installment, with a provisional title Paranormal Activity 8in a leading role, according to reports from Deadline.

James Wan He is the producer along with Jason Blumwith Paramount on board to co-finance, co-produce and distribute the film theatrically with Blumhouse Atomic Monster.

Oren Pelidirector and screenwriter of the original 2007 installment that became a box office phenomenon, is another of the producers with the company Solana Films.

Executive producers are Michael Clear and Judson Scott of Blumhouse-Atomic Monster, and Steven Schneider of Room 101 Inc.

Paranormal Activity keeps a special place in Blumhouseas it marked the start of Blum's successful production company in 2007.

Paramount Pictures has set the theatrical release of Paranormal Activity 8 for him May 21, 2027.
