Discover how easy it is to make a delicious homemade, natural, and healthy persimmon jam.

Ingredients

  • 4 persimmons (700 g)

  • 50 ml filtered water

  • 50 ml vinegar

  • 200 g sugar

Directions

  • Wash the persimmons thoroughly, remove the tops, and cut each one into 4 pieces. Place half of the persimmons in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add half of the filtered water and blend again. Add the remaining persimmons, the rest of the water, and the vinegar. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and add the sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the jam thickens. Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
  • Once cooled, transfer the persimmon jam to a clean jar with a lid. Store it in the refrigerator before serving and keep it refrigerated after opening.
  • Enjoy the persimmon jam with bread, toast, crackers, or as a topping for your favorite desserts.
