NEON the first trailer for the comedy debuted The Wrong Girlsstarring Kristen Stewart (Love Lies Bleeding) y Alia Shawkat (Blink Tiwce), as two best friends whose lives take an unexpected turn after discovering a mysterious experimental drug.
The film written and directed by Dylan Meyerin her feature directorial debut, tells the story of Frankie (Stewart) and Molly (Shawkat), two cannabis-loving friends whose codependent lifestyle is upended when Frankie mistakenly receives a briefcase containing luminous vials of an experimental psychedelic. After consuming the substance, both develop telepathic abilities that allow them to communicate with each other, and even with their cats.
His new powers quickly attract the unwanted attention of a group of dangerous Danish scientists determined to recover the missing drugs. As the unlikely duo attempt to escape their pursuers, they become embroiled in a series of increasingly bizarre events that include conspiracies, talking animals, and escalating chaos.
Other cast members include LaKeith Stanfield (I Love Boosters), Zack Fox (Abbott Elementary), Tony Hale (Veep), Kate McKinnon (Barbie), Geena Davis (Blink Twice) y Cate Blanchett (Disclaimer). Con Seth Rogen (The Studio) y Kumail Nanjiani (The Breadwinner) lending their voices to Frankie and Molly's cats.

Speaking earlier about the project, Stewart described the film as a deliberately absurd stoner comedy, while Meyer said the story centers on two friends forced to confront adulthood after years of avoiding responsibility.
The film combines friendship comedy, science fiction and psychedelic adventure, offering a genre-defying story that differentiates itself from traditional studio comedies.
