Prime Video debuted the first official poster of The Devil’s Mouthhis new survival thriller, starring Kathryn Newton (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) y Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved).
Newton leaves behind the escapes from murderous families in which we saw her this year in Ready or Not 2to go to Thailand, where you will enter La Boca del Diablo, a remote cave system as wonderful as it is terrifying.
The film, premiering this month on Prime Video, features Newton as one of five friends who embark on a magical summer adventure that soon turns into a nightmare.
The plot follows some college friends who become trapped in submerged caves in Thailand with a predator. Between tensions and little oxygen, they fight to survive.
The streamer shared the poster that shows the friends and the threat that lurks in the intricate labyrinths of the cave, which lives up to its name, with an appearance that looks like a pair of jaws opening to devour anyone who dares to enter it.

In addition to Newton and Condor, the main cast includes Nico Hiraga (Booksmart), Gavin Casalegno (The Summer I Turned Pretty) Tommy Rose (Sweet Magnolias), y Tayme Thapthimthong (The White Lotus).
A week before the friends began their Thai cave swim, a strong storm caused massive flooding that swept all sorts of sea creatures into the cave's fresh waters, where they soon perished. This gives the Devil's Mouth an eerie atmosphere as they venture into it, and it becomes even scarier when they encounter a shark that somehow survives in an environment that should be inhospitable. Silent, deadly and hungry, he lies in wait for every misstep or slip that brings them into his domain.
The film follows the group as they begin to become disoriented in the dark hallways and begin to fall apart as reason gives way to basic survival instincts and sacrifice becomes their only hope of escape.
Jeff Wadlow (Imaginary, Truth or Dare) directs the script written by Wadlow, along with Just Gabel (Little Fish) y Myug John Wesner (Star Wars: Skeleton Crew).
The producers are Wadlow, Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. The soundtrack is composed by Bear McCreary.
The Devil’s Mouth premieres on July 29 on Prime Video.
