Sony Pictures debuted a new teaser for Spider-Man: Brand New Dayin which we see Peter Parker (Tom Holland) confront the Wild Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and… yet another surprise about the return of an audience favorite villain.

In the short clip, Peter and Bruce face off. We know from previous trailers that the Hulk is being controlled by the character of Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), which turns him into his most furious and deranged version, the Wild Hulk, the purest and most primitive incarnation of the character, with a childish mentality and a lot of anger. The most curious thing, however, is what Peter uses to fight the Hulk: a weapon attached to his arm that appears to shoot electrical currents. It looks like Shocker's gauntletwho is rumored to reappear in Brand New Day for a long time.

The last time we saw Shocker was in the post-credits scene of Morbiuswhere he was transported to Earth-688B (the universe where all the characters from Spider-Man from Sony). Previously appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Take a look at the teaser at the end of the note.

The plot of Brand New Day It is set four years later. of the events of No Way Home.

At the end of No Way HomePeter Parker makes an enormous sacrifice to save New York City and the multiverse from destruction, inadvertently caused by Doctor Strange's spell that brought the return of Spidey villains like the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus to the MCU from other dimensions. To dispel the magic tearing the universe apart, Peter agrees to let everyone in the world forget his true identity (revealed by Mysterio at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home).

This means that his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya), his best friend Ned (Jacob Battle) and the rest, forget that Peter is Spider-Man. Alone, and mourning the death of his Aunt May (Tomei), Peter dons a new red and blue suit true to the comic and sets out once again to save the day.
