The original Apple TV series, The Morning Showstarring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston y Reese Witherspoonwill conclude with the fifth season. The announcement was accompanied by the first images of the final season, which will premiere in 2027.

The goodbye of The Morning Show It will mark the end of an era for the streaming platform, as the series was its first foray into scripted television.
The Morning Show premiered in 2019 and was an immediate success for Apple, thanks in large part to the charisma of Witherspoon and Aniston, who took on her first leading role in a series since Friends.
The series revolves around the world of morning television shows and the New York media. In the early seasons, Alex (Aniston) and Bradley (Witherspoon) gave viewers a harrowing takedown of the morning news show, and UBA, the broadcast network for which they work, exposing a workplace culture rife with misogyny, toxicity, racial inequality and sexual misconduct. Real-world headlines such as the #MeToo movement, the pandemic, and the turbulent political situation in the United States over the past decade, including the events of January 6, have also been explored.
The Morning Show is based in part on an original idea by Michael Ellenberg by Media Res, and in part, in the book Top of the Morning written by Brian StelterCNN reporter. Kerry Ehrin developed the series.
In an official press release, Aniston shared the latest news:

And Knowing it would be the last, we had the great fortune to be able to create the ending with intention and honor these characters as they deserve.”.
Witherspoon added:

In addition to Aniston and Witherspoon, the cast includes Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Behariewith Steve Carell as part of the first season.
Season by season, the cast increased the star talent, incorporating Jon Hamm, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, Boyd Holbrookamong others.
The final season will feature the participation of new members such as Jeff Daniels, Jesse Williams, Sean Hayes, Lizzy Caplany Renee Rapp on his return to acting after taking a break to focus on his career in music.
The series has received 28 Emmy Award nominations in its entire run, and has won four of them.
The fifth and final season of The Morning Show will premiere in 2027 on Apple TV.
