5 eggs
2 cups corn starch (cornstarch)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
Directions
- In a mixer, add the eggs and beat until doubled in size and foamy.Â
Gradually add the sugar with the mixer running and beat some more. - Turn off the mixer and add the cornstarch.Â
Gently stir with a whisk from top to bottom until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
- Pour the dough into a greased shape with butter or margarine and flour.Â
Preheat the oven to 180º₢ and bake the dough for approximately 45 minutes. - Carefully remove the sponge cake from the oven, wait to cool to room temperature and the recipe is ready.
