The result and practicality of this Maizena cookie are incredible!

Ingredients

  • 60 ml of milk

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 cup cornstarch/cornstarch

  • 1 cup (tea) wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

Directions

  • Place the cornstarch/cornstarch, wheat flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl. 
    Mix well, add the butter or margarine and mix again. 
    Then add the milk and mix until it thickens.
  • Mix the ingredients with your hands until you form a smooth, consistent dough that easily comes off your hands. 
    Take portions of the dough and shape the cookies with the size and shape of your preference.
  • Arrange the cookies side-by-side and spaced apart on a greased and floured baking sheet. 
    Bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden.
  • Carefully remove the cornstarch cookies from the oven and allow them to cool to room temperature. 
    Unmold them with a knife or spatula and the cookies are ready to be eaten.
