Ingredients
4 whole eggs
3 medium grated carrots
3 cups wheat flour (tea)
2 cups of sugar (tea)
1 cup oil (tea)
1 tablespoon baking powder

2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup cocoa powder (powdered)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
Directions
- In a blender add the peeled and chopped carrots, the oil, the eggs and beat until homogenized.
Add the sugar and then the wheat flour little by little while beating more.
Add the baking powder and mix with a spoon. - Pour the dough into a greased and floured baking dish.
Preheat the oven to 180º₢ and bake the cake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until it is lightly golden on the outside and dry on the inside. - To prepare the syrup, add the butter, milk, sugar and powdered chocolate to a pan or milk jug.
Take to the fire and mix nonstop for a few minutes until the syrup thickens.
Turn off the heat and set aside until warm. - Pour the chocolate syrup over the unmolded cake, or in the mold itself and spread well.
Leave the carrot cake for a few hours in the fridge if you prefer and the recipe is ready.
