The result of this bread pudding is a mouthwatering dessert, easy to prepare and with an incredible texture!

Ingredients

  • 2 stale breads

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 500 ml of milk

  • 3/4 cup (tea) sugar

  • 10 drops vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

Directions

  • Chop the buns and place in a bowl. 
    Add the milk and set aside to hydrate.
  • Melt 1/2 cup of sugar until caramelized in a pan and transfer to the pudding mold, or melt in the mold itself, and set aside.
  • In the blender place the eggs, 3/4 cup of sugar, the vanilla essence and the moistened bread.
  • Cover the blender and blend the ingredients well. 
    Then pour the dough into the form of caramelized pudding.
  • Completely wrap the pudding in aluminum foil with the shiny side facing down and place in a larger mold filled halfway with water.
  • Cook the pudding on the stove for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when skewered.
  • Leave the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours, turn it out onto a platter or plate and the bread pudding is ready.
