Three weeks until the theatrical release of the historic mystery thriller Killers of the Flower Moon of Martin ScorseseApple Original Films continues to release marketing campaign material.
Until now we have seen trailers, images and posters, however the most recent promo shows us the first look at a sequence from the feature film, which is focused on the characters played by Leonardo DiCaprio y Lily Gladstone (Certain Women, First Cow, Billions).
The film will be released in the last quarter of the year, a space that is mostly reserved for the premieres of film productions that will play an important part in the awards ceremonies at the beginning of next year.
Killers of the Flower Moontitled The Moon Killers in our country, is based on the best-selling novel of the same name written by David Grann, whose plot –inspired by true events– It is set in the 1920s, and tells how A series of oil murders of Native American tribesmen of the Osage Nation in Oklahoma emerged as one of the first major homicide investigations by the newly created FBI.
In addition to DiCaprio and Gladstone, the cast includes Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, y Tantoo Cardinal.

“In 1920s Oklahoma, the Osage Nation were the richest people per capita in the world, after oil was discovered beneath their lands. And then they were killed, one by one. As the death toll mounted, the newly formed FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.”
The script was written by Oscar winner, Eric Roth (Forrest Gump A Star is Born, Dune).
