The simple preparation and delicious result of this avocado chocolate mousse will surprise you.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe avocado

  • 2 frozen bananas, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 4 tablespoons 50% cocoa powder

  • Granola, fruit, chocolate, or honey for topping

Directions

  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh, chop it, and transfer it to a bowl.
  • Add the 50% cocoa powder and brown sugar. Mash and mix very well.
  • Place the mixture in a food processor or blender, add the frozen banana slices, and blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the mousse to a large bowl, dessert glasses, or small serving cups.
  • Top with granola, fruit, chocolate, or honey to taste (optional).
