3 cups wheat flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
1 pinch of salt
100 g butter at room temperature
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
4 ripe bananas, sliced
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup of sugar
50 g butter at room temperature
Cinnamon powder to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add the butter and eggs to the dry mixture.
Mix well until you get a crumbly texture. - Gradually add milk to the mixture, stirring until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
- In a greased and floured rectangular shape, spread half the dough in the background.
- Distribute the banana slices over the dough in the form.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon for the filling and sprinkle over the bananas.
- Cover the bananas with the rest of the dough.
- In a bowl, prepare the farofa by mixing the flour, sugar and butter until you get a crumbly texture.
Add cinnamon to taste. - Spread the farofa over the top layer of dough.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
