To make your Fridge Pudding, use the ingredients below and follow the instructions to make it work!

Ingredients

  • For the pudding:
  • 1 can condensed milk (395g)

  • 2 cans of milk (use the empty condensed milk can as a measure)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • For the syrup:
  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup of water

Directions

  • In a pan, put the sugar and water.
  • Take to medium fire and let cook without stirring until the syrup is golden.
This will take about 10-15 minutes.
Keep an eye on the syrup so it doesn’t burn.
  • As soon as the syrup reaches the desired color, immediately pour it into a pudding mold, spreading it along the bottom and sides of the mold.
    Reserve.
  • In the blender, add condensed milk, milk, eggs and vanilla essence (if using).
  • Beat all the ingredients in the blender for about 2 minutes, until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Pour the pudding mixture into the caramelized form, over the syrup.
  • Cover the mold with aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
  • Place the mold in the refrigerator and let the pudding chill for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to ensure it is firm.
  • When ready to serve, run a knife around the edges of the pudding to loosen.
Place a serving plate over the tin and turn it upside down, letting the syrup drip over the pudding.
  • Your refrigerator pudding is ready to be enjoyed!
    Cut into portions and serve.
