Ingredients

  • 3 cups blackberries (500 g)

  • 1 cup sugar (250 g)

  • 100 ml vinegar

Directions

  • Add the blackberries, sugar, and vinegar to a large saucepan and place over medium heat.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces and you can see the bottom of the pan when you run a spoon through it.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and either leave the blackberries whole or, if you prefer, blend the jam in a food processor after it has cooled.
  • Store in a glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator, and the blackberry jam is ready to serve.
