Following the surprising success of the micro-budget British slasher, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeyfrom the screenwriter and director Rhys Frake-Waterfieldthe sequel was launched Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2with the return of the filmmaker.

The audience was hooked on a premise with a sinister twist on one of the most beloved fictional characters: Winnie the Pooh. In the first installment, Pooh and Piglet go out in search of blood after Christopher Robin (Nikolia Leon) abandons them.

For the sequel, other friends will join in to continue the revenge.

Christopher Robin (now played by Scott Chambers) seeks some good old-fashioned talk therapy after the events of the first film. As he overcomes what can only be described as catastrophic amounts of trauma, we learn that The menacing, sinister creatures of the Hundred Acre Wood are rising from their resting places and preparing to wage war.. This time, they won't just wait for Christopher to return to them, but they'll take the fight to their town of Ashdown after word of his existence has spread. With weapons in hand, the creatures we once loved as kids come stomping into town, with some new but familiar faces joining the chaos, including Tigger..

Matt Leslie (Summer of 84) wrote the script for the sequel.

The cast also includes Eddy Mackenzie (Flux), Marcus Massey (Bunny the Killer Thing), Tallulah Evans (Son of Ranbow), Kelly Rian Sanson (Snake Hotel), Simon Callow (The Witcher), Alec Newman (The Boys in the Boat), Nicola Wright (The Mystery of Mr. E), Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope’s Exorcist), Tade Adebaio, Lewis Santery Nichaela Farrell.

Previously, Frake-Waterfiel said that Pooh has a redesign for the sequel, now with a larger budget. Pooh's design for the first installment was $770 USD, while for the new installment he had a budget of $20,000 USD. The company in charge of the prosthetics has worked on Voldemort from Harry Potterand in Star Wars.

At the moment, the theatrical release date has not been announced. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. It was expected for this month of February.
