Camp Claude, The Wedding Present | Coast Is Clear

Camp Claude «Everynight» – I think it’s time for some music from France again. I introduced the trio Camp Claude here in the blog a long time ago, back then with a song that reminded me of Mazzy Star. Now they’re back with a new track from their follow-up album due out in 2023. Stylistically, it’s atmospheric and quite pop-like, although the strength of the band is their great variety. So you don’t know (like some other indie bands) in advance what to expect. I like that. 🙂

The Wedding Present «Science Fiction» – speaking of Indie – true icons and classics of British creaky guitar music is The Wedding Present from Leeds. They have been active since 1985 and are constantly releasing new music. So now this song as part of their “2022 every month a new single” project. Pleasantly melodic, I think.
