Paramount Pictures and Miramax are starting the marketing campaign of the drama based on a real story, Roofmanwith the first official trailer, starring Channing Tatum (Blink Twice, Magic Mike).
Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines, The Light Between Oceans) direct the script co -written by cyanfrance and Kirt gunn.
The plot follows a former army ranger and father with economic difficulties. To get to the end of the month, he decides to steal McDonald's restaurants making holes on the roofs, which earned him the nickname of “Roofman”. Hidden in a toy store after escaping from jail, a new life begins by falling in love with a single mother (played by Kirsten Dunst) and her two daughters. However, its criminal past and the last robbery complicate their redemption possibilities.

The producers are Lynette Howell Taylor, Jamie Patricof, Duncan Montgomery, and Dylan Sellers, with the executive producers Tatum, Cianfrance, Jonathan Montepare, Chris Parker, Charles M. Barsamian, Tyler Zacharia, Matthew von Waaden, Sam Romano, Rock Covert and Jack Selby.
Paramount Pictures will distribute the film in several markets. The release date is scheduled to October 10 in Cinemas.
