John Wick: Chapter 4 it took third place at the domestic box office (USA) in its third week of theatrical release, behind The Super Mario Bros. Moviey The Pope’s Exorcist.
After being crowned the best premiere of the franchise, the fourth installment of the Lionsgate action saga, starring Keanu Reevesracked up another $7.9 million, for a domestic total at the time of $160.1 million, and a global total of $349.7 million, dethroning John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum ($328.3 mdd) as the highest-grossing film in the entire franchise.

The action saga centers on John Wick (Reeves), a former hit man who quit his old jobs to have a family life with his wife. After the death of his wife, Wick is forced out of retirement to hunt down some gangsters who took everything he had left.
the second movie, John Wick: Chapter 2follows Wick on his journey to pay off a debt, while discovering that a large bounty has been placed on his head. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellumthe most recent installment, sees Wick on the run after murdering a member of the international assassins syndicate, and with a price tag of $14 million on his head, he becomes the target of hit men and women everywhere.

Chad Stahelskidirector of the complete saga, resumed his work in the fourth installment. The script is in charge of Shay Hatten y Michael Finch (American Assassin, Predators, Countdown), with Stahelski producing alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. Reeves is the executive producer, sharing duties with Louise Rosner.
The cast is made up of Reeves, Bill Skarsgård (IT, Barbarian), Scott Adkins (Thriple Threat), Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Shamier Anderson (Stowaway), the debutante Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada (Mortal Kombat), y Clancy Brown (Dexter)In addition to the return of Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShaneand the recently deceased actor, Lance Reddick, reprising their roles as Bowery King, Winston, and Charon, respectively.

the universe of John Wick It will continue on the big screen, as well as expanding to the small screen. First, we will have the launch of the series The Continentalwhose premiere is set for September 2023 in Peacock in the United States, and in Prime Video in the international market, including Mexico and the rest of Latin America (more information here).
