Chocolate Icing for Carrot Cake
In addition to being delicious, this chocolate frosting for carrot cake is made with only 4 ingredients!
1 box of sour cream (200 grams)
3 tablespoons 50% cocoa powdered chocolate
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
6 tablespoons of sugar
- Place the cream, butter or margarine, sugar and 50% cocoa powder in a saucepan or milk jug.
Take to medium fire to low and mix without stopping until you form a liquid and uniform syrup.
- When it boils, keep stirring the syrup constantly for approximately 5 more minutes so that it becomes creamy.
- Transfer the mixture to a container of your choice, wait for it to cool and the chocolate frosting is ready to be placed on the carrot cake or sweet dish of your choice.
