Less than a month away from the theatrical release of the highly anticipated Oppenheimer of Christopher Nolanthe marketing campaign of Universal Pictures continues with a new look at Nolan behind the scenes.

Oppenheimer is a period piece on J. Robert Oppenheimera World War II scientist considered one of the fathers of the atomic bombplayed in the film by Cillian Murphy.

And in case you’re not familiar, we tell you that Oppenheimer was a theoretical physicist who became the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory, directed the research and development of the bomb that ended World War II, under what is covertly called the Manhattan Project. He also oversaw the Trinity Test, in which the first atomic bomb was successfully detonated in New Mexico.

Oppenheimer is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer”, by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The script was adapted by Nolan. The filmmaker is producing the film with his wife and producing partner Emma Thomas for their company Syncopy Inc.

Oppenheimer will be released in theaters on July 21, 2023where he will face the premiere of the also highly anticipated Barbie of Greta Gerwig.
