Colin Farrell is promoting the film Thirteen Lives (premiere on Prime Video August 5) in Los Angeles, and while walking the red carpet for the premiere at the Westwood Village Theater, he discussed two projects in development that all Batman fans will be interested in.

We talk about the sequel The Batman 2to which Warner Bros. gave the green light at the end of last April, with the confirmed returns of Matt Reeves cas director and screenwriter, and Robert Pattinsonlike Batman/Bruce Wayne. in The Batmanreleased in theaters in March of this year, an unrecognizable Farrell plays The Penguinwhich will have its own series on HBO Max.

Farrell comments to the ET medium about the possibility of retaking the role in the sequel, and Reeves’ participation in the series The Penguin:

“Oh my gosh, are you kidding me? It’s so funny, are you kidding me? I’ve been doing this for a while. [Hacer esa película] It was an easy sport, I mean… it was a joy.”

Matt is up to his neck, you know, he moves over the keyboard and he just plans the story because he’s so meticulous.. He is so obsessed with what he does, but is also in the [serie] The Penguin [de HBO Max]. In recent days, Paul Danowho played Edward Nashton/The Riddler in The Batman, was also excited and willing to reprise his role if he were called up for the sequel, saying:

I spent the last year writing this comic [Riddler: Year One] because I loved our movie so much, Gotham, Batman, all of that, so you know, if they call me, I’ll introduce myself, yeah! It would be so much fun to be there with another good actor like Barry.”

Farrell has not started filming the series The Penguin from HBOMax. He is currently filming the drama and science fiction series Sugar of Apple TV +, and will probably start filming The Penguin starting 2023.

The details of the plot The Batman 2 have not been disclosed, however it is known that, “will take audiences back to Gotham”,
