Ingredients
2 eggs
2 boxes of sour cream
2 cups mimoso cornmeal
1 cup wheat flour (tea)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder for cake
80 ml of oil
Icing sugar (optional)
Directions
- In a bowl add the eggs, sugar and mix well.
Add the oil, wheat flour, cornmeal, cream and mix again very well.
Add the baking soda and mix to homogenize. - Add in a greased shape with butter or margarine and floured with cornmeal the cake dough.
Then take it to the preheated oven at 180º₢ and let the cake bake for about 35 minutes. - Turn off the oven and wait for the cake to cool down a bit.
Unmold onto a plate or platter, finish by adding sifted icing sugar on top and the cornmeal cake with cream is ready to be served.
