Ingredients
3 eggs
3 cups of milk
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of cornmeal
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round mold with butter and flour.
- In the blender, add the eggs, sugar, milk, cornmeal, wheat flour, vegetable oil and salt.
Beat everything until you get a homogeneous mixture. - Then add the butter and baking powder and whisk quickly just to incorporate the ingredients.
- Pour the dough into the previously greased mold.
- Take it to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden and when inserting a toothpick in the center, it comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
- Serve the creamy cornmeal cake accompanied by a fresh coffee or whatever you prefer.
