Ingredients
1 liter of milk
1 package of hominy corn (500 grams)
1 box of cream (200 grams)
1 box of condensed milk (395 grams)
1/2 tablespoon butter or margarine
150 grams of granulated sugar
180 grams ground peanuts
Directions
- In a pressure cooker place the washed corns and water until it is about 5 fingers above the corns.Â
Add the butter, cover the pan and bring to a boil.Â
After getting pressure, let it cook for 20 minutes.Â
Turn off the fire and wait for the pressure to come out by itself. - Check the water, cover the pan again, let it boil for another 15 minutes and wait for the pressure to release.Â
With the fire on, add the milk, condensed milk, sugar and stir well.Â
Let it boil for between 8 and 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.
- Add the ground peanuts little by little and mix well.Â
Boil for another 5 minutes, always stirring well.Â
Finish by adding the cream, mix and turn off the heat. - Transfer the creamy hominy to another container if you prefer and serve the dessert hot, or leave it in the fridge for a while and serve the creamy hominy chilled.
