DADARAY «Mayo» – I recently mentioned the Japanese musician, songwriter and producer Enon Kawatani here in the blog. He has 4 active bands that he makes music for (indigo la end, Genie High, Gesu no kiwami otome and Raisan), but since that obviously doesn't keep him busy enough, he also writes songs for other artists. So much, for example, for the trio DADARAY, which has been active since 2017 and continues to release music at frequent intervals. As you would expect from Enon, their style has some jazz elements, but also a funky bass. Like with her new single, which I like again (of course ;-).
Echo & the Bunnymen «Brussels is Haunted» – On the other hand, this legendary band from the UK is a very old acquaintance for you and me. Ian McCulloch has been releasing music with his band since the 80s and is now back with a successful single from the new album “Apples for Isaac”, which will be released these days.
