Traditional in Brazilian cuisine, the cuca de farofa marks the memory of several generations!


  • 3 eggs

  • 3 cups of flour (wheat)

  • 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine

  • 2 cups (tea) of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon of chemical yeast

  • 1 cup (tea) milk

  • Flour
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 2 cups of flour (wheat)

  • 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine


  • In a bowl add the eggs, sugar, butter or margarine and mix until you get a whitish cream. 
    Add the milk and then the wheat flour gradually, while mixing well.
  • Add the yeast, mix until the mass is homogenized and set aside. 
    To make the farofa, place the flour, sugar and butter or margarine in a bowl. 
    Mix with your hands until the ingredients form a crumb.
  • Pour the dough into a greased shape and distribute the farofa on top. 
    Bake in a preheated oven at 200º₢ for about 45 minutes, wait for the cuca to cool to room temperature and the recipe is ready to serve.
