First glances to Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal in 'The Accountant 2'

Next April we will have in theaters the premiere of the sequel The Accountant 2.

Amazon MGM Studios's action thriller has the returns of Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons y Cynthia Addai-Robinsontaking up the roles of the first installment. Also back for the sequel are the director Gavin O’Connorand the screenwriter Bill Dubuque.

The most recent novelties reveal the First glances to Affleck and Bernthalplaying the brothers Christian and Brax, respectively. In the new installment they will work together, and not against each other as was the case of the first film, The Accountant (2016).

To enter into context, the titled The counter In our market, it focuses on Affleck as Christian Wolff, a public accountant with autism, highly qualified, which leads a double life as a forensic accountant for criminal organizations. Bernthal is Brax, the Brother Operator of the Christian Security Company. Simmons is Ray King, the director of the Financial Crimes Execution Network of the Treasury Department. Addai-Robinson assumes the role of Marybeth Medina, a promising treasure agent in charge of discovering the true identity of the accountant.

As to The plot of The accountant 2this is launched when the former lead of Medina (Addai-Robinson) is killed by strangers and she is forced to Contact Christian to solve the murder. With the help of his brother Brax, from which he is distanced but that is very lethal, Chris applies his brilliant mind and his little legal methods to rebuild the unsolved puzzle. As they approach the truth, the trio attracts the attention of some of the most ruthless murderers in the world, all determined to end their search.

The sequel is produced by AFFleck and Matt Damon for Artists Equity, along with Lynette Howell Taylor from 51 Entertainment, and Mark Williams. Among the executive producers are Dani Bernfeld, Kevin Halloran, Michael Joe, and Alison Winter. Artists Equity acquired the rights of Warner Bros's sequel.
