In our anniversary print magazine, we portrayed six Leipzig artists, which are representative of the diversity of the local club scene. At the beginning of May, selected photographs and the texts in this series will be experienced in an exhibition.
On May 2, 2025, the wallpaper plant festival will take place again in the west of Leipzig. If you don't know it yet: the wallpaper plant is a post-industrial complex in which wallpaper was actually manufactured and several studios and offices from the creative sector can be found today. The “Frohhroh headquarters” has also been here for almost ten years.
We are very pleased that we can now host our own exhibition at the Tapetenwerk festival for the first time: “From Leipzig's clubs with love” is an adaptation of the almost the same name portrait series that we published in our print magazine for the 15th Froh-Jubiläum last year. With wonderful pictures of the Leipzig photographer Iona Dutz and texts from me, we have come into focus Miss Take, Azil, Judith van Waterkant, Agy3na, Peter Invasion and Luiser – representative of various generations and subsidies of the Leipzig club culture.
The exhibition sometimes shows unpublished recordings in a spacious way and a clubby atmosphere. No more will be revealed.
